Pinter pressure switches used in LNG facilities

05 January 2011

The Pinter Manocomb pressure switches were selected for use in LNG facilities due to their integral pressure gauge and visual set point indication. This enables operatives to see the actual system pressure at the process point and compare with the set point. This could also be achieved with the use of a pressure gauge as well as a standard pressure switch but this would entail higher installation costs to mount two separate instruments. The Pinter Manocomb pressure switches require only one process connection needed which helps eliminate potential leak paths.
